Accountability

"Research on and evaluation of SAPEP programs [including EAOP] exceeds the level of assessment of even large federal programs, and the findings for SAPEP programs are empirically based and statistically significant." ~ A Report to the Legislature on Student Academic Preparation and Educational Partnerships for the 2005-06 Academic Year
The persistence rates of EAOP students are equal to or better than their campus counterparts

EAOP welcomes accountability standards.
EAOP has a long history of success and welcomes accountability standards established by the California state legislature.

EAOP has an accountability framework in place.
The accountability framework identifies specific goals, uses data to evaluate whether those goals have been met, and ensures that EAOP is managed efficiently and effectively. Read the accountability framework in the April 2006 SAPEP report to the California legislature.

Each year, all EAOP campus programs provide a detailed report documenting their services and listing their students. These data files are then evaluated for outcomes in 'a-g' completion, test-taking, grade point average, and college-going, among other criteria.

In addition, all EAOP campus programs submit a narrative report to further explain the work of the program.

EAOP reports its outcomes annually.
EAOP reports its outcomes to the legislature annually as part of the SAPEP accountability report. Read more about EAOP's program outcomes and successes.
