
To be enrolled in EAOP, a student must meet at least ONE of the following criteria.

| 2. Attending a school with limited college prep curriculum | School has four or fewer AP Courses, and school does not have at least one AP course in each of these areas:

| 3. The first in one's family to attend college (first generation) | The custodial parent does not have a baccalaureate degree from a US school or equivalent; and/or neither parent has a baccalaureate degree from a US school or equivalent. |
| 4. Residence in a community with low college-going rates | Less than state average by school district. |
| 5. Attending a school with below-average SAT/ACT exam scores | School average SAT I/ACT test scores are below the 50th percentile for California schools |
| 6. Particpant in a Community-Based Organization (CBO) serving low-income communities and/or communities with low college-going rates | Less than state average by school district. |
